Bracken Spraying on Cannock Chase

Staffordshire County Council has a contractor on site at various locations around the Chase, including near Brocton, to spray the bracken as part of the routine conservation management of the site. This helps keep the bracken to acceptable levels and prevents it dominating other heathland vegetation, while also keeping the area accessible.
